In cricket, a batsman is considered great when he scores big runs and stays till the end. However, in today’s era of the limited overs format and T20 cricket, batsmen look to score as many runs as in an over and put pressure on the opposition bowlers. The maximum number of runs a batsman can score in one over without any extra delivery is 36. For that, you have to hit a six on every ball out of the six balls in an over.
However, it’s not an easy task to hit six consecutive sixes in a single over, but there are a few cricketers in the world who have achieved this feat in domestic and international level. It’s not an easy task to continue the same momentum throughout the over and smash every ball of the over for a six, but these batters achieved this feat and have turned the match around for their team with those six sixes. Let’s take a look at all the cricketers who have the record of hitting 6 sixes in 6 balls.
