Yes! One of the esteemed college football coaches, Jeff Hafley who coached Boston’s College for 4 years is now moving back to his NFL career.
On Wednesday, the NFL insider Tom Pelissero disclosed that Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley accepted a defensive coordinator job offered by the Green Bay Packers.
As the Packers head coach Matt LaFleur announced in a press release that the Packers are very excited to have Jeff on the board. According to the ESPN reports LaFleur said,
“Jeff has had success at every stop of his coaching career with an impressive track record of developing players at every level. We look forward to him leading our defense.”
LaFleur also welcomed Jeff Hafley’s family and continued, “We are excited to welcome Jeff, his wife, Gina, and their daughters, Hope and Leah, to the Packers and the Green Bay community.”
Previously Jeff Hafley had a few NFL stints with the San Fransico 49ers and Cleveland Browns in the NFL before he signed a contract with the Boston College Football team and became the head coach.
Where Hafley left the Eagles in shock, the Packers are excited to have him on the team. Jeff Hafley will replace Joe Berry, former Packers defensive coordinator who got canned last month.
