Following his return to Mumbai Indians as skipper things started to fall apart for Hardik Pandya, this time off the field. As rumours of Hardik getting divorced from his wife Natasha Stankovic intensify. As per reports Natasha is set to receive 70% of Hardik’s property as she files for divorce.
Speculation has been circulating for a few week when Natasha removed Pandya from her surname in her Instagram bio. Previously Natasha often accompanied Hardik during IPL matches from the stands, this time around she was not seen that frequently.
Moreover, the couple was not even seen posting about each other recently. The last time Hardik posted Natasha’s photo was during Valentine’s Day. Hardik didn’t even post anything on her birthday which he usually did previously.
The rumour started from a Reddit post, where the user mentioned how both the couples are not sharing each other’s photos and stories and changed Natasha’s username.
Hardik was one of the fan favourites in the country until his captaincy saga in his second spell at Mumbai Indians. Hardik was handed over the captaincy in place of Rohit Sharma, who was the most successful captain of the franchise to date. The decision didn’t go well with the fan base as he was booed in every stadium he played in. Apart from that his performance and captaincy were also put to question as Mumbai Indians ended their campaign at the bottom of the table. It has been a season to forget for Hardik as he managed to score only 216 runs and scalped 11 wickets in 14 games.
Hardik started his IPL journey as a rookie in 2015 and was part of the Mumbai Indians franchise till 2021. In 2022 Pandya joined the Gujarat-based franchise as their captain and led them in back to back finals and a trophy in their maiden year in the tournament.
Hardik will be looking to turn things around as he will deputy, Captain Rohit Sharma on the quest for an ICC trophy in the upcoming T20 World Cup, starting from June 2.
