RCB vs CSK: It is time for the second round of the Southern Derby in the TATA IPL 2024. Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings, who played the tournament’s opener against each other, will meet again in match no. 68. This game will be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 18. This contest will reveal the fourth team to feature in the playoff stage. Everyone is expecting a great battle between two popular teams.
But the biggest worry awaits everyone, as there is a prediction of rain on Saturday that might play spoilsport in the game. Already, two matches this week involving Gujarat Titans have been washed out, and this could be the third game of this season. Well, rain can end the hopes of RCB and their fans because CSK will qualify with 15 points. However, veteran keeper Dinesh Karthik have shared a major update on the weather ahead of the RCB vs CSK clash.
Let's hope best for tomorrow…🤞

IPL 2024: Dinesh Karthik share a weather update in Bengaluru ahead of the RCB vs CSK Clash
Every RCB fan is worried about the weather because rain can spoil their party. After sitting at the bottom of the table and losing seven of the first 8 games, RCB have shown a great comeback. They have won their last five matches on the trot, which has put them back in this playoff race. Now they have the final hurdle in front of them. They need to beat CSK by a decent margin.
But the first concern will be about rain. In a Q&A session on Instagram, a user asked DK about the weather in Bangalore. He said,
“As of now, it is very, very good. Finger crossed for tomorrow!”
Well, it is a big update, as fans will be praying for a match. If it doesn’t rain on Saturday, then RCB will have a chance to make it to the playoffs.
But it won’t be easy, as CSK have a great record against them. RCN need to beat CSK by 18 runs or win it in 18.1 overs to go past CSK’s NRR, which will help them qualify. So there is still some work to be done if we get a complete game. But one thing is sure: it will be a cracking contest between two teams and some great players. Notably, Chennai had already beaten them earlier this season in match no. 1.
