In the game between the Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals, Delhi recorded a 20-run victory after Sanju Samson’s 86 went in vain. Kuldeep Yadav was given the man of the match award for picking two wickets and conceding just 25 in the quota of four overs.
Fans witnessed an unusual incident during the match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. DC co-owner Parth Jindal was seen shouting from the stands regarding a contentious decision that went in his team’s favor.
In the 16th over of the match, Sanju Samson‘s powerful shot of Mukesh Kumar nearly cleared the boundary, but a spectacular dive from Shai Hope claimed the catch. Replays showed that he was close to the boundary cushions, but the third umpire gave it a not-out. A disappointed Samson walked back to the pavillion after having a prolonged conversation with the on-field umpires. Samson was fined 30 percent of his match fees for breaching the IPL’s code of conduct.
Jindal was seen shouting, “Out hai!! Out hai!! ” and it drew criticism from the fans, labeling it unsportsmanlike behavior to influence the on-field proceedings.
A fan posted a photo that said, “The most punchable face in IPL.”
His reactions angered a lot of fans, and many of them were disgusted.
