Bengal Pro T20 League 2024: Teams, Captain, Schedule & Matches List

The inaugural season of the Bengal Pro T20 league is scheduled to kick off today, June 11, at iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Organized by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), the league will feature a total of eight teams based on notable West Bengal cities and districts.

Each team will play every other team once in the group stage. The top four teams, after 28 league matches, will advance to the semi-finals, where the ranked 1 team takes on the ranked 4 team while the ranked 2 team competes with the ranked 3. The winners of these semi-finals will compete in the final on June 28.

The eight participating teams are Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Adamas Howrah Warriors, Harbour Diamonds, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards, Servotech Siliguri Strikers, Murshidabad Kings, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, and Sobisco Smashers Malda.

The opening game of the Bengal Pro T20 League will be played between Harbour Diamonds, led by IPL champion Manoj Tiwari, and Servotech Siliguri Strikers, led by RCB’s all-rounder Akash Deep.
