Cricket is an emotion in our country, and while we celebrate this emotion in the form of the Indian Premier League, various people express their love for the game in many ways. One such is the representation of Placards in stadiums. In one such instance, a child was seen holding a placard written,
“Not going to school until RCB wins the IPL.”
This shows how much-loved Royal Challengers Bengaluru is. The statement is huge, but how much it would be adhered to is a point of question, but putting logic aside, the emotion it carries all across the countries cannot be expressed in words.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru is one of the most loved franchises in the IPL. Every year, their team looks good on paper and brings excitement to the fans, but when it comes to the results, they disappoint. The closest was in 2016, when they reached the final but could not cross the final line after getting defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 runs. That season, the team looked fierce, with the likes of Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Shane Watson, AB De Villiers, and KL Rahul. That season, they finished the league stage in the second spot, 16 points behind the Gujarat Lions.
This year, too, the fans remain hopeful with a squad that remains more or less balanced. Virat Kohli has been in stellar form, with runs coming out of his bat. Yash Dayal and Siraj have also impressed, but for the franchise to do well, there needs to be more contribution from the other players. Once the players find their groove, competing with this franchise will be very difficult.
