The Kabaddi fever in India will be at its peak as the 10th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is all set to kickstart with a match between Gujarat Giants and Telugu Titans at the Eka Arena in Ahmedabad on 2nd December. The runners-up of the 2017 and 2018, Gujarat Giants will be looking to clinch their maiden PKL title this time after finishing at the eighth position in the previous season.
After a disappointing outing in PKL 9, Gujarat made some huge changes in their squad for the upcoming season by releasing star players like Rinku Narwal, Sandeep Kandola, and Korea’s Dong Geon Lee. Instead, they went for fresh and young players for the upcoming season. Their most expensive player is Iran’s Fazel Atrachali, who will be captain of Gujarat Giants in PKL 2023. Atrachali was the captain of Puneri Paltan in PKL 2022 and led the team to the finals in that season.
