3-time champion Patna Pirates came out as one of the strongest squads ahead of the PKL 11 after retaining some key players and securing some star players. Among the new players, Patna Patna-based franchise added the fan-favorite Jang Kun Lee for the price of INR 17.50 lakh. However, their most expensive buys are Defender Shubham Shinde and all-rounder Gurdeep whom they secured for INR 70 lakh and INR 59 lakh respectively. They also retained their best players Sudhakar M and Ankit Jaglan who helped the team to reach the PKL 10 playoffs in the previous season.
U Mumba
Mumbai-based franchise U Mumba also bought one of the most expensive players Sunil Kumar for INR 1.05 crore. They also added some of the top players including Parvesh Bhainswal, Manjeet, and Stuwart Singh. The franchise also retained their top players like allrounder Amir Mohammad Zafardanesh, defender Mukilan Shanmugam, and defender Sombir.
