The Los Angeles Kings center Alex Turcotte posted his first NHL goal in three seasons.
On Wednesday, the Los Angeles recorded a 4-2 victory over the Nashville Predators. The 5th overall pick of the 2019 NHL draft Alex Turcotte made it 2-0 in the second period and had an assist on Trevor Lewis’ goal with 6:39 left.
Via LA Kings official X formerly known as a Twitter account, posted Alex Turcotte’s magical moment. With a caption said,
“ALEX TURCOTTE’S FIRST @NHL GOAL!!!!!!”
One of the top NHL prospects Alex Turcotted seemed a bit relieved after scoring his career’s first NHL goal. According to NHL.com in an interview, Alex Turcotte expressed his excitement and said,
“It was obviously really exciting, and I kind of blacked out there for a little bit,” Turcotte said of scoring his first goal. “Just a big relief.”
And with the help of Alex’s goal, the Kings are entering the NHL All-Star Break. However, the Los Angeles Kings head coach Todd McLellan said,
“We’ve got a long way to go to get our game back, but to go into the (All-Star) break feeling a little bit good about ourselves is a real good thing. I thought we had pretty good focus for most of the night.”
The Wednesday night game between the Los Angeles vs Nashville Predators was the only second game of Alex Turcotte in this season.
