Pakistan’s bowlers struck early, with Abrar Ahmed dismissing Devon Conway (10 off 17) with a wrong’un that knocked over his off-stump. Naseem Shah then took the big wicket of Kane Williamson (1 off 2), caught behind by captain Mohammad Rizwan. Just as Young was on 49 off 55, he watched another wicket fall from the non-striker’s end. It was Daryl Mitchell who departs on 10 off 24, throwing his wicket to Haris Rauf, caught by Shaheen Shah Afridi.
