In the first Semifinal match between India and New Zealand, Virat Kohli achieved this rare phenomenon and became the world’s first cricketer who has the most ODI centuries.
The Wankhede Stadium becomes the witness of one more accolade that adds to the Virat’s achievement list. Not only this but Kohli’s has also broken Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 7 half-centuries in the 2003 edition of the World Cup. This is Kohli’s, eighth 50-plus score in the 2023 World Cup, achieved the iconic feat in 10 innings.
