Indian captain Rohit Sharma retaliated with “use your brain” after Pakistan’s great Inzamam-ul-Haq accused Arshdeep Singh of ball-tempering.
In a thrilling IND vs AUS Super 8 final India beats 2021 T20 World Cup champion Australia in St. Lucia. Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh scalped 3 wickets putting a full stop on Mitchell Marsh’s 205-run chase and booking a semi-final berth against England on Thursday in Guyana.
However, former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and Saleem Malik made abrupt allegations against Arshdeep Singh that India must have “worked on a ball” to generate reverse swing in the T20 World Cup match against Australia.

When a reporter asked Rohit about such serious accusations against his team on the eve of India’s semi-final meeting with England. Rohit retaliated with the Hitman intensity and advised former players to use their brains in a way that made a laughing stir in the press conference.
Rohit replied, “Abhi kya jawab du mein iskey bhai? (What answer will I give?) If you are playing in such warm conditions and the wickets are this dry, the ball will reverse on its own. The ball is reversing for all teams…”
Skipper explained how conditions differ in Australia and England where the weather seemed a bit cooler. He also stated that It’s not just happening with Team India.
Rohit continued with, “Not just for us. You know sometimes, thoda dimaag ko kholna bhi zaroori hai. (It’s important to use your brain). You have to understand where we are playing. Matches are not taking place in England or Australia. That’s all I’ll say.”
Hope Inzamam-ul-Haq got his answer as to why Arshdeep Singh managed to reverse swing the ball before the death overs against Australia at the ICC T20 World Cup.
