On Thursday, at 6:20 am, Team Blue finally arrived at IGI Airport in New Delhi after BCCI arranged a special charted flight for Team India. To honor the T20 World Cup Champions, the Boeing 777 plane was named Air India Champions 24 World Cup (AIC24WC) by Air India. The AIC24WC took care of the Champions as well as supporting staff, the players’ families, board officials, and members of the traveling media contingent.

After the flight landed safely in Delhi Airport Team India travelled to the ITC Maurya where Rishabh Pant was seen with the World Cup 2024 Trophy. Rohit and the whole squad left for PM Narendra Modi’s residence for the felicitation meeting and had breakfast at 11:00 am.

Team India will leave for Mumbai once the meeting is done with honorable India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Finally, the wait will be over and fans will see their heroes and trophies in an open bus parade which will start from Nariman Points and end to the Wankhede Stadium.
