Finally the wait is over, and the BCCI announces the squad for the upcoming test series of India vs Englaand. Star player Shubman Gill has been chosen as captain, replacing Rohit Sharma, who recently retired from the tournament. Rishabh Pant has been selected as vice-captain as well as the wicket keeper, whereas Jaiswal and KL Rahul will handle the top batting order.
India will also miss iconic player Virat Kohli, who recently announced his retirement from Test cricket. However, the spotlight now shifts to young talents like Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Sudharsan, who can bring fresh energy and new approaches to the game.

Karun Nair, finally got his chance to play in the test series, he has scored heaps of runs in the domestic season and seems in an outstanding form. In the domestic seasons, he has delivered an impressive innings, where he scored runs with an average of 300 and gave most runs in an inning.
