On 14 October, in the 2nd innings of Mumbai, Baroda’s bowler Bhargav Bhatt slowed down the run rate and bagged a 6-wicket haul for just 55 runs in 19.4 overs.
During the entire match, Bhargav Bhatt became a showman of his caliber and controlled Mumbai’s scorecard. After Baroda’s 1st innings of 290, Mumbai came to the bat and scored only 214 thanks to Bhargav’s bowling who scalped 4 wickets for 53 runs in 21 overs.
At one point, it looked like Mumbai came back strong as ever especially when bowlers like Tanush Kotiyan (5/61) and Himanshu Singh (3/50) started to fight back. However, Bhargav Bhatt came to the rescue and bagged a 6-wicket haul for the Baroda and helped in victory by 84 runs.
