After spending two tough years playing for Uttar Pradesh, Nitish Rana is all set to make a full circle, re-joining Delhi for the 2025-26 domestic cricket season. The 31-year-old left-handed batter had moved to UP in 2023, hoping to revive his career, but things didn’t go as planned. Now, he is going back to the place from where his cricket journey began.
Nitish Rana’s childhood coach, Sanjay Bharadwaj confirmed his shift from UP to Delhi as reportedly he had advised Rana not to leave Delhi in the first place. “Apna ghar toh apna hi hota hai,” Bharadwaj said, hoping that being back in a familiar setup will help Rana find form again. Apparently, Rana used to captain Delhi before moving to UP in year 2023.
