The Maheshwari School Old Student Association (MHSOSA) has once again brought together its vibrant alumni community through the Box Cricket League 4.0, held at the Jai Club, Jaipur, on 15th and 16th November 2025. The grand opening ceremony witnessed a mix of nostalgia, excitement, and camaraderie as past students of Maheshwari Public School, Tilak Nagar, gathered to celebrate their bond through sports.
The event was inaugurated by Pawan Arora (former senior IAS officer) and Umesh Soni (President, Shree Maheshwari Samaj Jaipur). Also gracing the occasion were MHSOSA President CA Sharad Kabra and Secretary Sanjeev Jain, who highlighted how this initiative goes beyond sports — aiming to strengthen ties among former students while supporting current school initiatives.
Celebrating Alumni Bonds Through Sports
MHSOSA, established in 2021, represents more than 25,000 alumni who have passed out from the school over the years. The Box Cricket League has quickly become one of its most anticipated events, promoting fitness, fellowship, and networking.
Vice President Vinay Agrawal emphasized that the association is actively working on alumni business collaborations through the Mahsosa Business Directory, further enhancing community ties and professional growth among members.
Tournament Details and Participation
Organized by Abhishek Lata and Anik Gupta from the 2009 batch, the 2025 edition has seen record participation. Teams from 26 different graduation years are competing, ranging from the 1983 batch, the most senior team, to younger alumni from the 2010 batch.
The format features fast-paced under-arm box cricket matches, making it inclusive and entertaining. A total of 55 matches will be played across three groups over two days, ensuring every team gets ample opportunity to showcase their skills.
Host batch representatives Prateek Jain and Abhishek Goyal announced that the winners will receive trophies, cash prizes, and a resort stay, adding a fun and rewarding end to the competitive spirit.
