The BCCI has announced the India A squad for the upcoming Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, which will be played in Doha, Qatar from November 14 to 23. Wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma has been appointed as captain, while Naman Dhir will serve as his deputy.

India vs Pakistan A – High-Voltage Clash on November 16
Fans are eagerly waiting for the India A vs Pakistan A match, which is scheduled for November 16. The encounter is expected to be intense, especially after recent political tensions and India’s senior team’s victory over Pakistan in the 2025 Asia Cup final.
BCCI’s move to send a strong mix of emerging and domestic stars shows their intent to nurture future international players through this platform.
The squad includes some of India’s brightest young talents — Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who made headlines earlier this year by scoring a record-breaking IPL century at just 14, and Priyansh Arya, known for his explosive batting in the domestic circuit. Ashutosh Sharma and Yudhvir Singh Charak also find a place after impressive IPL and India A performances.
Jitesh Sharma, who is currently with India’s senior T20 squad in Australia, brings valuable leadership experience and composure to the team. His recent unbeaten 22-run knock against Australia has strengthened his reputation as a dependable finisher.
