The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is just a day away from its conclusion. Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Kolkata Knight Riders in Chennai for the finale of the Cash Rich League. A day before the final, the BCCI Secretary was seen offering prayer at the Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh. In a video, he was seen walking towards the temple, and later he shared a photo with his mother. He, along with BCCI President Roger Binny and other office-bearers, are expected to be present at the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the final.

Jay Shah, in a statement on Friday, clarified all the rumors regarding the appointment of a head coach for the Indian national team. He said that neither the board nor he himself have approached any former Australian player for the job role. He further added that “we are focused on identifying individuals who possess a deep understanding of the Indian cricket structure and have risen through the ranks. It’s crucial that our coach has in-depth knowledge of our domestic cricket framework to truly elevate Team India to the next level.”
Australian world cup-winning captain and Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting disclosed on Thursday that he was approached to take over Rahul Dravid as the head coach, but he claimed to be not interested. Justin Langer also few days back claimed of the same but he also was not much keen in taking up the role.
