In the ongoing Delhi Premier League, Ayush Badoni who played for the LSG in IPL smashed 19 sixes as he scored 165 off 55 balls. South Delhi Superstarz top batter Ayush Badoni set a new World Record for the T20 with 19 sixes in an inning, breaking the previous record of West Indies batter Chris Gayle.
On Saturday, Batting first, Delhi Superstarz faced early wickets, however with captain Ayush Badoni (165* off 55 balls) and Priyansh Arya (12 off 50 balls) Superstarz scored 308/5 in 20 overs. So far it is the highest total in a Delhi Premier League T20 match in the tournament’s history.

The stars of the match Badoni and Arya also set the 286 runs highest partnership record for any wicket in the Cricket Tournament.

Badoni amassed 165 runs including 8 fours and 19 sixes breaking the previous 18 sixes record of Chris Gayle. On the other side of the strike, Arya also gave a star performance with his 120 runs off 50 balls including 10 sixes and 10 fours.
South Delhi Superstarz scored a total of 308/5 only short fell from breaking the highest team total in T20 history which was named to Nepal against Mongolia in the 2023 Asian Games men’s competition.
