Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 2025): It is time for another entertaining and action-packed season of Celebrity Cricket League to get underway. The 11th season of the league is all set to begin on February 8, 2025. The new season promises another thrilling contest of this unique yet most-followed cricket tournament, which features different superstars from different industries.
Since the inaugural season of the CCL in 2011, it has gained popularity with every passing season. And now it has become a must-watch on the bucket list of fans who love cricket and cinema. Some of the iconic celebrities, actors, and technicians take part in this competition every year. Just like every season, the coming CCL 2025 will have 8 teams representing their regional fold industries. Bengal Tigers are the current champions who will defend their title in the coming season.

Celebrity Cricket League CCL 2025: Format
The tournament has been played in round-robin format, where all teams played once against the other opponents. But now the tournament has adopted the new format, which is quite similar to Test cricket. A game will feature four innings with both teams playing two each for ten overs.
One team wins the toss and bats first, then the other team will chase the score set by the first team. Then again, the first team will bat, and the other team has to chase that target or combined score if they miss doing it in the first innings.
