The BCCI Naman Awards 2026 celebrated some of the biggest achievements in Indian cricket, honouring players, officials, and legends for their performances and contributions to the game. The ceremony recognised outstanding international performances as well as top performers from domestic cricket.
Among the major winners, Shubman Gill received the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) after a remarkable year with the Indian team. In women’s cricket, Smriti Mandhana was one of the biggest stars of the evening, winning multiple honours for her outstanding performances with the bat.
The ceremony also celebrated the careers of three legends who received the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. Former India coach Rahul Dravid, World Cup hero Roger Binny, and women’s cricket pioneer Mithali Raj were recognised for their long-standing contributions to Indian cricket.

The highest recognition of the evening was the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, given to individuals who have made a lasting impact on Indian cricket.
Roger Binny played a crucial role in India’s historic 1983 World Cup victory, finishing as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. After retiring, he served Indian cricket as a coach, selector, and BCCI administrator.

Rahul Dravid, widely respected as one of India’s finest batters, scored over 24,000 international runs during his playing career. After retirement, he helped shape the next generation of Indian players and later guided the national team to the T20 World Cup title in 2024 as head coach.
Mithali Raj, a legendary figure in women’s cricket, played 333 international matches and became the first Indian woman to cross 10,000 international runs. Under her leadership, India reached two Women’s World Cup finals and she inspired a new era for women’s cricket in the country.
