With this, their hopes to qualify for the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 are still alive. In Group 1, only India have four points, while Australia and Afghanistan have two each. Australia will face India, while Afghanistan will face Bangladesh in their last Super 8 games. If India beat Australia and Afghanistan can sneak past Bangladesh, then India and Afghanistan will qualify for the semis from Group 1 of the T20 World Cup 2024. And it looks pretty good for Afghanistan.
