Early Life of Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer was raised in a modest household in Indore. He began his cricketing journey at the age of 10 by joining a cricket club in his hometown. He started off as a wicket Keeper- Batsman until and then developed an interest in bowling after being given an opportunity to bowl at the Under 19 level and from then on began to shine as an all-rounder. He made his T20 debut for Madhya Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and his first-class debut in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.

Vektesh completed his schooling at St Paul Higher Secondary School, Indore. After graduating from high school, he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree and simultaneously prepared for the Chartered Accountant examination. 

He then further enrolled himself in the Institute of Management Studies at the DAVV University to gain an MBA (Masters of Business Administration). He continued to study for CA during his MA as well and qualified for the Intermediate examinations but dropped the idea of it to pursue his career in cricket.
