In the 1983 Cricket World Cup semi-finals, each team played 60 overs per innings. That was the rule for One Day Internationals (ODIs) at that time. To give you a bit of context, nowadays, teams play 50 overs per innings in ODIs, but back then, they played a bit longer. So, in the semi-finals, both teams had a chance to bat and bowl for 60 overs each unless they were bowled out earlier.
