Upcoming Matches in Kotambi Stadium Vadodara 2025

Following the praise for the first two editions of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), a fresh season of this T20 cricket tournament is going to kickstart on February 14, 2025. Amid a growing competition among five teams, Royal Challengers Bengaluru emerged as a defending champion after crafting the maiden victory, leaving behind Mumbai Indians as the former champion. Both times, Delhi Capitals had to sink to the defeat in the final match. With the intent to rebound, WPL 2025 will be an opportunity for Gujarat Giants, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and UP Warriorz to cast a long-lasting impression, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru will look for a consecutive trophy. 

In the inaugural match, Gujarat Giants will host Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Kotambi Stadium located in Vadodara. All WPL 2025 T20 matches will be hosted across four different venues, such as Vadodara, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Bengaluru. The WPL 2025 final match is scheduled for March 15 in Mumbai at Brabourne Stadium. A total of 22 fixtures have been scheduled in WPL 2025. The starting six T20 matches have been allotted to Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. In the opening match, Gujarat Giants, which finished WPL 2024 at the bottom, will engage in a thrilling contest against defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday at 7:30 PM IST. Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals will play three matches at this stadium. Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and UP Warriorz will have two contests at this venue. The time is set as 7:30 PM IST for all matches.
