South Africa Women and India Women will square off against each other at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on May 7 at 10 AM IST. This tournament will see the 5th match of the ongoing Sri Lanka Women Tri-Nation Series. SA W will look to bounce back while IND W are also eyeing to getting back to the winning track.
Considering the previous five ODI matches between SA W and IND W, India won the toss three times, winning all matches. Whereas, SA won the toss on two occasions, but couldn’t claim a single victory. In their recent match in this tournament, India won both the toss and the match against South Africa by a narrow margin of 15 runs.
Talking about the ongoing tournament, SA W skipper hasn’t yet won a toss in their last two matches, resulting in defeats in both of them, which moved them to the bottom of the points table. On the other hand, IND W skipper came out as a toss winner in two matches and secured victory in both games. However, in one match against Sri Lanka Women, India Women couldn’t win the toss, resulting in a defeat. So far, India Women are standing at the top of the points table. So, in today’s match, both captains will have their heads up for winning the toss.
