Punjab Kings (PBKS) will lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in Match No. 66 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on May 14. PBKS have been exceptional, having qualified for the playoffs, while DC are left with the remaining league stage matches to improve their rank. PBKS and DC will be up for a second contest this season, starting at 7:30 PM IST.
Over the years from IPL 2022 to IPL 2025, PBKS won the toss on three occasions, but won the match only once. On the other hand, DC also won one match, but after winning the toss two times. In the last match in IPL 2024, PBKS hosted DC at The PCA New Stadium, where the home team won both the toss and the match.
Looking at the current season, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer has been fortunate to win the toss three times out of the last five matches and has won all of those matches. In two matches, after losing the toss, PBKS won only one match. Conversely, DC skipper Axar Patel won the toss in three matches, but the team won only one match. Disappointingly, the DC campaign lost two matches after losing the toss on two occasions. So, in today’s IPL match, the team winning the toss will have dominance in the match.
