Mumbai Indians (MI) are set for an epic clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, in Match No. 63 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on May 21. This match will reshape their hopes of getting into the playoffs as it will be a do-or-die contest. Their last head-on clash this season will take place at 7:30 PM IST.
In the last five IPL matches from IPL 2022 to IPL 2025, Mumbai Indians won the toss on three occasions and converted it into a victory twice. Conversely, Delhi Capitals got the toss in their favour twice, but couldn’t win the match. In a most recent match this season, DC claimed the toss, but MI won the match.
According to the current edition, MI skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss on two occasions and converted them into victory. However, even after losing the toss in three games, MI won twice. On the other hand, DC skipper Axar Patel emerged as a toss winner in two games and converted only one instance into a victory. However, after losing the toss in three other matches, DC lost all of the matches, considering the stats for the last five matches in IPL 2025. So, in today’s IPL match, both skippers will have their eyes on winning the toss.
