Post ICC T20 World Cup, this will be the first time India will face Sri Lanka in International games. Team India’s main squad is back home with captain Rohit Sharma who has just announced his retirement with Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja from T20I Cricket format. Where fans are waiting for their grand comeback in the 3-game ODI series ahead of the Sri Lanka Tour, BCCI wants all seniors to take a rest for the 10 upcoming Test series before the Champions Trophy.

R. Premadasa Stadium is the venue for the SL vs India ODI game series. All three ODI matches between India and Sri Lanka will be hosted at the same stadium R. Premadasa Stadium.
The venues for the SL vs India have yet to be announced by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. We will update the Sri Lanka and India ODI venue list after the official announcement.
The BCCI wants all seniors to take a rest before a Bangladesh 2 Test series falls in September later this year. Predictably, Hardik Pandya or KL Rahul would like to play as a captain for the 3 ODI series ahead of the Sri Lanka Tour.

Ravindra Jadeja will be back in ODI after his T20 World Cup journey. Champion Arshdeep Singh will also return to the ODI squad ahead of the India vs Sri Lanka series. Rinku Singh, Shardul Thakur, and Ravi Bishnoi might be the expected players for the replacement in the main squad.
The BCCI has made no official announcement for the India squad for the Sri Lanka Tour. It is an expected Indian player list for the Sri Lanka Tour of 3 ODI series. We Fantasy Khiladi will update once the BCCI official reveals the players list.
Currently, Shubman Gill has been leading the second string of the Indian squad in the 5 T20I series in Zimbabwe Tour. The squad for the Sri Lanka Tour might change later based on players’ performance in the ongoing 5 T20I series against Zimbabwe.
