10. Ollie Hairs (SCO) – 40 balls vs Italy

The Scottish opener, Ollie Hairs, holds the record for the fastest century for his country in the shorter format. He did it in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Region Qualifier match against Italy in Edinburgh. Scotland posted a massive totla of 245/2, where Hairs smashed an unbeaten 40-ball ton. He scored 127 runs off 53 balls, with 14 fours and 8 sixes. Italy only managed 90 all-out and lost the game by a massive margin of 155 runs.
9. Johnson Charles (WI) – 39 Balls vs South Africa

West Indies have produced many big hitters in this format. Johnson Charles is certainly one of them. The veteran wicket-keeper batter registered the fastest T20I century for West Indies. It came against South Africa in Centurion in March 2023. It was a record-breaking game where South Africa chased down the highest T20I total. West Indies made 258/5, with Charles scoring a 39-ball ton. He made 118 off 46 balls, including 10 fours and 11 sixes. South Africa made 259/4 in 18.5 overs to win this game, where Quinton de Kock scored a 44-ball 100.
8. Zeeshan Kukikhel (Hungary) – 39 Balls vs Austria

The T20I cricket has spanned over 100 countries, and that’s why we see a number of Associate Nations and their players coming into the rank. One such player is from Hungary, who has one of the fastest T20I ton. He is the opening batter, Zeeshan Kukikhel, who scored a 39-ball hundred against Austria in June 2022. Austria made 196/6, and Hungary needed a good start. Zeesham scored 137 runs off 49 balls, with 7 fours and 15 sixes, and took his team to 197/6 and won them the match.
7. Sivakumar Periyalwar (Romania) – 39 Balls vs Turkey

Veteran middle-order batter from Romania, Sivakumar Periyalwar, was the first of the three batters to reach the triple figure off 39 balls. He did it in the 2019 Continental Cup against Turkey at Ilfov County. Batting first, Romania scored 226/6, and Sivakumar scored an unbeaten 106 runs off 40 balls, with 12 fours and six sixes. In reply, Turkey were bowled out for 53 runs, and Hungary registered a 173-run win.
6. Sudesh Wickramasekara (Czech Republic) – 35 Balls vs Turkey

Another player from the Associate Nation makes his entry on this list. The middle-order batter from the Czech Republic, Sudesh Wickramasekara, holds the record for one of the fastest T20I centuries. He achieved this record against Turkey during the 2019 Continental Cup. This match broke many records, as the Czech Republic also registered the second biggest win margin in T20Is. Sudesh scored a 35-ball century and made an unbeaten 104 off 36 balls, with 8 fours and 10 sixes. The Czech Republic made 278/4, dismissed Turkey for just 21 runs (third-lowest T20I total), and won by 257 runs.
5. Rohit Sharma (India) – 35 Balls vs Sri Lanka

The record for the fastest T20I ton for a full-member team is jointly held by Rohit Sharma. He smashed a 35-ball ton against Sri Lanka in Indore. Batting first, India posted their highest total of 260/5, with Rohit Sharma scoring 118 runs off 43 balls, with 12 fours and 10 sixes. In reply, Sri Lanka made 172 runs, and India won by 88 runs. Rohit scored 108 runs from boundaries, which is the most by a batter in T20Is from a full-member squad.
4. David Miller (SA) – 35 Balls vs Bangladesh

From 2017 to 2023, David Miller held the record for the fastest T20I ton. He smashed a 35-ball century against Bangladesh in October 2017 in Potchefstroom. Miller scored 101 not out from 36 balls, with 7 fours and nine sixes while batting at No. 5. South Africa made a big total of 224/4 and dismissed Bangladesh for 141 runs to win the game by a margin of 83 runs.
3. Kushal Malla (Nepal) – 34 Balls vs Mongolia

Nepal have grown very fast in the last 2–3 years. Their record in T20I cricket is very good. This game saw some big records being broken. Batting first, Nepal became the first ever team to cross the 300-run mark in the T20Is. They made 314/3, with Kushal Malla scoring a 34-ball ton. He made 137 not out from 50 balls, with 8 fours and 12 sixes. Dipendra Singh Airee recorded the fastest T20I fifty off 9 balls in this game. Mongolia were bowled out for 41 runs, and Nepal registered the biggest T20I win by 273 runs.
2. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton (Namibia) – 33 Balls vs Nepal

The record for the second-fastest T20I ton is registered by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton from Namibia. He smashed a 33-ball ton against Nepal in a triangular series in February 2024. He scored 101 off 36 balls, with 11 fours and 8 sixes, and Namibia made 206/4. Nepal made 186 runs and lost the game by 20 runs.

June 17, 2024 is now registered in the record books because Sahil Chauhan from Estonia registered a 27-ball T20I century on this day. He broke all the previous records and registered the fastest T20I ton. It was the game against Cyprus, where they made a total of 191/7. Chasing the score, Estonia were 40/3, and Sahil scored an unbeaten 144 off 41 balls, with 6 fours and 18 sixes. Estonia made 194/4 in just 13 overs to win the game.
