The Grand Prairie Stadium was originally opened as a baseball Park named QuikTrip Park or Ballpark in Grand Prairie. The Ballpark was a home for the Texas AirHogs baseball and the Texas United soccer teams. Later in 2020, the baseball stadium was converted into a Cricket Ground to fulfill the need for Cricket matches and host the 2024 T20 World Cup.
It is governed by the American Cricket Enterprises and USA Cricket and is a permanent home for the USA national cricket team. With $20 Million in renovation costs, the Grand Prairie Stadium has 13 luxury suites, premium seating, a sports bar, and cricket-specific facilities like training nets and batting lanes. It also has a 7000 seating capacity which can be expandable upto 15000. The Grand Prairie stadium will host 4 T20 World Cup matches. It will also host the very first group stage match 1 between USA vs CAN on Sunday 2nd June at 6:00 pm. It will be the first T20 International match played in the Dallas Stadium.
