But this time, the ace India batter played one of the best innings in the T20Is when India faced Pakistan during the 2022 T20 World Cup fixture at Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23rd October, 2022. Chasing a target of 160 runs, India lost 4 wickets for just 34 runs in 6.1 overs, with the Indian top order failing miserably against Pakistan’s pace attack. However, the Indian fans still had some hope left with Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya at the crease.
