WT20WC 2024: The ICC announced the revised schedule of the Women’s T20 World Cup starts from 3rd October to 20 October in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The 9th edition of the women’s T20 World Cup was initially scheduled to be held in Bangladesh but was moved to UAE due to security concerns amid political unrest in the country. The Sharjah Cricket Stadium will witness the season-opening match scheduled between Women Bangladesh and Women Scotland teams on 3rd October starting at 3:30 PM IST.

ICC Women’s World Cup 2024 Groups
There will be 10 teams competing with each other in two groups of Five teams in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 League stage. The two groups of WT20WC 2024 are as follows:-

Out of 10, eight teams secured their spot directly as the top eight teams in the tournament. Sri Lanka and Scotland qualified through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier held in Dubai earlier this year.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 full fixture, timetable, match timings and venue details
There will be a total of 23 matches including 2 semifinal and final matches from 3rd October to 20th October. All the Day matches are hosted at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Night matches are scheduled at Dubai International Stadium.
Before the actual tournament, there will be 10 warm-up matches all are supposed to be held in the Sevens Stadium and the ICC Academy grounds in Dubai.
