The 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup has moved to the UAE starting from 3rd October to 20th October. The tournament was initially scheduled to be held in Bangladesh but due to political unrest in Bangladesh looking at the security of the players, the event was relocated to the United Arab Emirates.

10 teams of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 are further divided into groups of five that will compete with each other to reach the semifinal round. The West Indies Women’s Team is in Group B along with hosts Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and South Africa.
In the 3rd match of WT20WC 2024, West Indies Women will have their campaign-opening match against South Africa Women at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 4th starting at 3:30 PM IST.
The West Indies Women’s team qualified for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as they were among the top 6 teams of the previous 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup.
