The ICC has released the complete schedule for the upcoming biggest event of the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup which will commence from 3rd October to 20th October.
With the release of the schedule of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Pakistan has announced its 15-member group led by Fatima Sana replacing Nida Dar.
The Women’s National Selection Committee of Pakistan showed faith in 22-year-old young talent Fatima Sana. The new skipper of the Pakistan women’s team Fatima Sana has impressive T20 stats as bowling allrounder. In the brief T20 International cricket, Fatima has 31T20I wickets with a bowling average of 30.09.
Sadaf Shamas, a right-handed batter who was part of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is returning to the team as well. She replaced the wicketkeeper Najiha Alvi who will travel as a reserve player in Dubai.
In the 2nd Match of WT20WC 2024, Pakistan Women’s team will lock horns with the Sri Lanka Women’s Team at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 3rd starting at 7:30 PM IST. With the new skipper Pakistan will look forward to winning their debut T20 World Cup Trophy in the upcoming ICC event.
