The ICC has released the full schedule of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 which was supposed to be in Bangladesh. However, it moved to the UAE (United Arab Emirates) from Bangladesh in August 2024.
Ahead of the 9th edition of the Women’s T20 World 2024, India has announced their star-studded squads led by All-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur.
The BCCI has released the 15-member list of players for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup tournament. The squad has the experience of Harmanpreet Kaur and the presence of India’s star batter Smriti Mandhana who will assist as a vice-captain.
With Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and Richa Ghosh’s strong batting lineup, BCCI also selects the top order batter, Yastika Bhatia, and the spin all-rounder Shreyanka Patil for the World Cup stage.
India Women’s team will face the New Zealand Women’s Team at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 4th starting at 7:30 PM IST. In 8 editions of the Women’s T20 World Cup, India still has to win their debut trophy.
