The undefeated team India is all set to take on the Netherlands for the last league of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday 12th November. The excitement will get doubled as both teams will lock horns on the occasion of the Diwali festival and the Indian team will be looking to celebrate it with straight nine wins in the league stage.

Star Indian pacer Mohammed Shami will be looking to add more wickets to his tally before going into the knockout. The 33-year-old has been sensational in the ongoing tournament who always gets the breakthrough for India in the first 10 overs. Notably, Shami went on to miss the first four matches of the tournament with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj leading the pace attack. He finally got a place in the playing XI in a match against New Zealand in Dharamsala after the all-rounder Hardik Pandya was ruled due to an ankle injury. Shami announced his World Cup comeback in style by picking up 5 wickets against the Kiwis and didn’t stop there. He then picked a 4-wicket haul and a 5-wicket against England and Sri Lanka respectively and took 2 wickets against South Africa on Sunday to enter the list of leading wicket-takers of the tournament by playing just four matches.
Shami picked 16 wickets in four matches at an economy of 4.30 with two five-wickets hauls. He is currently in red-hot form in the tournament and will play a crucial role for the Indian team in the knockout stage. Before that, he will look to continue his momentum in a match against the Netherlands, but in won’t be an easy task on the batting-friendly surface of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
