The major league cricket season is a twenty over format which is ready for its another season set to begin from July 5 2024, managed and organized by the American Cricket Enterprises for USA cricket. Sponsored by Cognizant, this year will mark the second edition of the exciting franchise twenty 20 cricket league which was established in the 2019.

Set to run from July 5 to July 28, 2024, the tournament will feature six teams competing in a round-robin format, with MI New York returning as the defending champions. The matches will be hosted at two prominent venues: Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Church Street Park in Morrisville, North Carolina. This season will begin right after the ICC World Cup  which will help cricket fans to be filled with cric-entertainment, so get ready to feel the thrilling moments from massive sixes to sensational catches showcasing top-tier cricket talent on American soil.

MLC  2025 Teams

A total of six teams would be seen participating in the tournament which will compete in the total of matches in the league tournament and then the top four will qualify for the Semi-Finals or finale of the series.below mentioned are teams of MLC 2024:

MLC  2025 Captains List

The teams for MLC 2024  have entrusted the responsibility of mentorship to their most skilled players—the captains. Each team has put their best bet on the captains who bring a unique set of skills, experience, and leadership qualities to lead their teams to the ultimate test of champions—the Finals. The captains for the MLC 2024 teams are:

MLC  2025 Schedule, Date and Times

These dates of the matches are as per the EDT and CDT time, for Indian fans the date would be a day ahead of the given above dates. Example if the date here is 5th July then for Indian Fans the match would be on the 6th July 2024. Timings for the same are mentioned above so make sure you get through the schedule in a good way and not miss any match thriller.

MLC  2025 Tournament Format

The MLC Tournament is a twenty over format tournament which will take place in the round robin format where each team will play against one another and then they will move to playoff matches scheduled for July 25, 2024. After competing in the league matches the teams will face each other in the playoff matches.

The top two teams on the points table will get on head to head battle with each other in the Qualifier 1 match scheduled on the 25th july 2024 and the next two teams on the points table will get in head to head clash with each other in the Eliminator match scheduled to take place in Dallas on the 26th July 2024. The winner of the qualifier 1 will directly qualify for the finale match but the loser will get another chance to compete with the winner of the eliminator match in the Qualifier 2, the team who wins the Qualifier2 (Challenger match) becomes the team to enter in the final battle against winner of the Qualifier 1 team.

MLC  2025 Points Table

The performances of the team  is displayed on the points table with the net runs rate, wins loss, past foure  match records, the top performing teams will be moving in the tournament ahed and the teams on the bottom will fail to make it to the playoffs. The top two teams on the table will move  to qualifier 1 and the next two teams will be playing the eliminator match.All teams currently stand with zero matches played, zero wins, zero losses, and zero points. The first matches of the season will kick off on July 5, 2024. Fans can look forward to an exciting season of cricket  and get updates here with the data for their standings in the season.

MLC  2025 Venue 

The matches of the MLC 2024 are set to take place at the two different venues which are located in the USA only. One amongst these is the Grand Prairie stadium in Texas and the other being the Church Street Park in Morrisville North carolina. With the seating capacity of around 7200 in Texas and 3500 in North Carolina these stadiums are getting ready, setting stage to welcome the teams  onboard and to willow fans to witness the ultimate cricket thriller.
