HPCA Dharamsala Stadium witnessed Travis Head‘s great innings against New Zealand as he wrote a new history in the ICC ODI Men’s World Cup 2023.
Travis Head, an Australian middle-over batsman not only hit his first ODI debut but also the fastest debut century in the World Cup. Travis scored 109 runs in just 59 deliveries and became the third-fastest World Cup hundred by an Aussie.
The first position was held by Glenn Maxwell who smashed the ton at just 40 balls. Maxwell also holds the record for second fastest century against Sri Lanka in 2015.
Travis Head just came back from his injury and hit the fastest debut century.
