The stage is set for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup final between two-time champions India and five-time champions Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November. India are in red-hot form with 10 consecutive wins in the tournament are favorites to win the cup being the host nation. On the other hand, Australia have also shown great form after losing their first two games and registered eight consecutive wins to book their spot for the big final on Sunday.

Australian pacers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood were all over the Indian batters in the first 10 overs of the match, dismissing Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, and Shreyas Iyer, all three for a duck. After that, it was Virat Kohli and Kl Rahul who let go of India off the top-order collapse and produced a match-winning partnership. Kohli got out after scoring 85 runs. While KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 97 runs and finished the game for India with a six.
Rahul has shown clinical performance in this ongoing tournament with 386 runs from 10 matches at an average of 77.20 along with one hundred and one half-century. He will look to deliver another match-winning performance against his favorite opponents Australia and help India to win the World Cup.
