In IPL 2024 Virat Kohli is the only active player with 100 plus most IPL catches in this season. King Kohli has many records to his name in the IPL and one of them is the most IPL catches taken in history.
Virat Kohli has taken 106 catches during his 235 IPL matches innings from 2008 to this date. Previously this record was named to the Chennai Super Kings’ former allrounder Suresh Raina who has taken 109 most IPL catches in the 204 IPL matches innings during his IPL career.
This year Mr. IPL Raina has said his adieus to the CSK and will return as a Lucknow Super Giants Mentor in the IPL 2024. 3rd place was held by the Mumbai Indians’ newly appointed batting coach Kieron Pollard who has a record of 103 catches in the IPL.
After Raina and Pollard, Virat is the only player with 100+ most catches in IPL. Although, former MI captain Rohit Sharma (98), Sir Ravindra Jadeja (97), and Gabbar Shikhar Dhawan (96) are right behind Virat Kohli to break his record with the most IPL catches.
