One of the big player battles to watch out for in the upcoming match will be between star RCB batter Virat Kohli and ace GT spinner Rashid Khan. Both players are two of the biggest players for their teams and are likely to face off against each other in the upcoming IPL 2024 clash. Kohli is currently second-highest run getter of the tournament with 500 averaging at 71.42. However, talking about his IPL stats against Rashid, the right-hander hasn’t been able to score freely against the afghan spinner in the cash-rich league and has strike rate of 124.63 against him in the IPL. Both players have locked horns eight times in the IPL, where Kohli has scored 86 runs against Rashid at an average of 43, while the leg spinner has dismissed him two times in his IPL career so far. In the last match in Ahmedabad, Kohli scored 16 runs against Rashid out of his unbeaten 70 runs off 44 balls with strike rate of 145.45, hitting two boundaries against the leg spinner. Now, it is likely to be another face off between the two players where Rashid will be looking to dismiss Kohli for the third time.

Another key player battle to watch out for in the upcoming match will be between RCB wicket keeper batter Mohammed Siraj and veteran GT pacer Mohit Sharma. Karthik has been in great form this year scoring 262 runs with a strike rate of 195.52 and has been giving big finish to RCB with his fiery batting in death overs. On the other hand, Mohit Sharma isn’t having a great outing this year like he had in IPL 2023 and is yet to deliver a match-winning performance for GT in the ongoing season. The right-arm fast bowler has taken 10 wickets from 10 matches in IPL 2024 so far, but his economy rate stands at 10.96. Talking about his IPL stats against Dinesh Karthik, Mohit hasn’t allowed the wicket-keeper batter to play freely against him in the cash-rich league so far. Karthik has scored 83 runs in 78 balls against the veteran fast bowlers, while Mohit is yet to dismiss him in the IPL.

The RCB pacer has faced off with Gill eight times in the IPL and is yet to dismiss him in the cash-rich league. The GT opener has amassed 64 runs against Siraj with a strike rate of 156.09. In the last match in Ahmedabad, Gill scored 9 runs off eight balls against Siraj before he got out in the seventh over to Glenn Maxwell.
