The IPL 2024 is around the corner and the fans are eager to catch their favorite team in action live from the stands. The tournament will kickstart on 22nd March with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While one-time champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will begin their campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on 23rd March.
After their opening game against KKR, SRH will return to their home ground, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad where they will host Mumbai Indians (MI) on 27th March. As per the schedule of the first released by BCCI, SRH will play two games in Hyderabad against MI and CSK on 27th March and 5th April respectively.
The 2016 IPL champions are looking as one of the strongest in IPL 2024 with some star players like Travis Head, Aiden Markram, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and others who will be playing under new skipper Pat Cummins. The Australian skipper has been phenomenal as a skipper last year leading the Aussies to the World Test Championship and 2023 ODI World Cup title.
