Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer born on December 5, 1985, in New Delhi, India. Dhawan made a mark on the Indian cricket scene with his stunning test debut against Australia in 2013, where he scored the fastest century as a debutant.
Dhawan has been a valuable addition to the Indian Premier League since it was founded in 2008. After his IPL debut, he played for several teams and is currently the captain of the Punjab Kings in the ongoing IPL season in 2024. He was bought by the franchise for INR 8.25 crore in the TATA IPL 2022 auction and has been part of it ever since.
