It was a below-par total, and RCB made a mockery of it. Phil Salt played a blinder at the top. He slammed 65 off 32 balls, with five fours and six sixes, and almost finished the game for RR. Virat Kohli also played well and took charge when Salt got out. Virat registered an Asian record, completed his 100th T20 fifty, and made an unbeaten 62 off 45. Devdutt Padikkal scored 40* off 28, and RCB reached 175/1 in 17.3 overs to help RCB win their fourth match of IPL 2025.

There was a fight between Salt and Jaiswal for most fantasy points. Salt earned 139 points while Jaiswal had 155 points. He scored 75 off 47 balls, with ten fours and two sixes, and won the Fantasy Player of the Match Award.
