Rajasthan Royals (RR) are off to a convincing start in IPL 2024 after a 20-victory against Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday. The skipper Sanju Samson led from the front and scored an unbeaten 82 runs off 52 balls along with Riyan Parag’s quickfire knock of 43 runs off 29 balls, as RR posted 193 for 4. After that, the bowlers also did their job well and restricted LSG on 173 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals (DC) lost their first match to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mohali on Saturday. DC skipper Rishabh Pant made his comeback in professional cricket after more than a year but couldn’t have a memorable outing in his comeback match. Now, both RR and DC will meet each other in match number 9 of IPL 2024 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 28th March.
