After a winning start against Mumbai Indians on Sunday, Gujarat Titans (GT) will now travel to Chennai to face the defending champions Chennai Super Kings at their own den at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium or Chepauk Stadium. Both teams will be coming after winning thier first match and will continue their winning momentum.
Both GT and CSK last met during the IPL 2023 final in Ahmedabad where CSK defeated GT by 5 wickets to win their fifth IPL title. Now, GT will be looking to take the revenge of the previous year’s final loss by defeating CSK at their home ground, for which, they will be hoping for a contribution from every player.
GT have destructive power hitters that can change the course of a match in a couple of overs with their batting. One of those players is Rahul Tewatia. The left-hander has been a crucial player for GT in the last couple of years and has pulled off several last-over thrillers with his destructive batting. Talking about his stats at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Tewatia has played just one match on this ground that was the Qualifier 1 of IPL 2023 against Chennai Super Kings on 23rd May.
