Prasidh Krishna is an Indian fast bowler and plays for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is currently part of the Indian squad in the ongoing home T20I series against Australia. However, he had a forgettable outing in the last match in Guwahati where he went on to concede 68 runs in his spell of four overs, which is the most any an Indian in the T20 format.
Prasidh Krishna made his international debut in an ODI against England in Pune in March 2021. He registered the figures of 4/54, which is the best by an Indian bowler in an ODI debut. Prasidh Krishna made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2018. The Kolkata-based franchise bought him for INR 20 lacs in the auction. After four years with KKR, Krishna was sold to Rajasthan Royals for INR 10 crores. Prasidh Krishna had a great outing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022, but didn’t get to play a single game in IPL 2023 due to an injury. However, RR have backed him and retained him for the upcoming season.
